Job description
The opportunity
Beca is seeking a Corporate Administrator to join its Christchurch-based Corporate Services team. This role sits in the Christchurch office and supports a collaborative group that helps create strong first impressions and keeps essential business operations running smoothly.
Each day will bring a mix of tasks and changing priorities. In practice, the role may involve greeting visitors and contractors, assisting with facilities and contractor coordination, arranging meetings and events for the Christchurch office, managing office supplies, making sure the right tools and equipment are available, and supporting filing, archiving, and project-related work. No two days will be the same, and the role suits someone who enjoys variety and staying one step ahead.
About you
Previous experience in office administration or corporate services would be an advantage, but Beca is also open to someone with the right attitude, enthusiasm, and energy who is keen to learn the company’s way of working. You should be comfortable representing a professional organisation to both internal and external stakeholders and motivated to grow your career in a dynamic, evolving environment.
You will be confident using Microsoft 365 and interested in learning new systems and tools. The role calls for a strong team player who enjoys providing a polished customer experience, adapts well to shifting priorities, and is willing to step in wherever needed. Initiative, active involvement, and commitment to the team’s goals and culture will help you succeed and enjoy the position.
What we offer
A career with Beca comes with a range of benefits, including professional development training, shareholding opportunities, a supportive and caring workplace where you can bring your whole self to work, and the chance to learn from industry experts and technical specialists across the Asia-Pacific region. Additional benefits include wellbeing and volunteer leave, along with discounted insurance options such as health, life, and income protection.
Beca is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace that welcomes ideas and contributions from people of all genders, ethnicities, identities, perspectives, and experiences.
