Job description

Role Overview

Aboitiz Foods is expanding a sustainable, forward-looking food ecosystem that serves millions of people across Asia. The company is looking for a commercially savvy strategy professional to step into the Corporate Strategy Lead role and help guide enterprise-wide direction.

Reporting to the VP of Strategy & Business Development, this position contributes to major strategic programs, assesses growth avenues, supports investment and partnership decisions, and works closely with senior leaders to influence the company’s long-term path.

Corporate Strategy and Planning

  • Assist in shaping and carrying out corporate and business strategies across Aboitiz Foods.
  • Carry out market scans, competitor reviews, and sector research to surface growth themes and emerging opportunities.
  • Lead and coordinate strategy planning sessions, then convert priorities into practical initiatives and execution plans.
  • Work with leaders across different markets to align objectives and ensure strategic actions move forward.

Business Analysis and Investment Assessment

  • Review potential business moves, partnerships, investments, and expansion plans.
  • Create business cases, financial models, and strategy recommendations for executive decision-making.
  • Contribute to due diligence and strategic review work for growth and investment opportunities.
  • Develop senior-leadership presentations and concise insights for executive discussions.

Execution Tracking and Performance Management

  • Set up and track KPIs, scorecards, and dashboards that measure strategic progress.
  • Monitor key initiatives, highlight risks and blockers, and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support governance routines and share strategic progress updates with leadership.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with country leaders, business heads, and functional stakeholders across the region.
  • Run strategic workshops, discussions, and alignment meetings with senior stakeholders.
  • Develop trusted working relationships with internal and external partners who support strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Management, or a related field, and brings 8 to 12 years of experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, corporate development, business planning, investment evaluation, or similar strategic functions.

Background in top-tier strategy consulting firms such as McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Strategy&, EY-Parthenon, Kearney, Oliver Wyman, Roland Berger, or comparable firms is strongly preferred. Candidates should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience evaluating strategic opportunities and business cases, and a track record of working directly with senior executives and cross-functional teams.

Strong financial understanding, business modelling ability, strategic planning capability, and excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills are important. Experience in food, agribusiness, consumer goods, manufacturing, or related sectors will be an advantage. The role also requires willingness to travel across Aboitiz Foods’ operating markets when needed.
