Job description
Role overview
An employer partner is seeking a Country Manager for Ireland. This is a senior, high-impact leadership role within a rapidly growing iGaming business, with end-to-end responsibility for market performance and commercial growth in the assigned region. The position blends strategy, operations, product, and commercial ownership, and is well suited to a practical leader who enjoys working in fast-moving, entrepreneurial settings. You will work closely with executive leadership to expand the market, improve revenue outcomes, and build locally scalable operations.
The role carries broad accountability across acquisition, retention, payments, partnerships, and reputation management, while coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable business results. It is fully remote and offers considerable autonomy, along with direct influence over long-term market success.
Accountabilities
- Take ownership of the market P&L and ensure growth, profitability, and strong operational execution, with direct reporting to executive leadership.
- Lead market expansion efforts by setting up or strengthening local operations, increasing brand presence, and delivering growth plans adapted to regional opportunities.
- Oversee critical business areas such as traffic acquisition, product localization, payments, CRM, VIP activity, customer support, partnerships, and reputation management.
- Review performance data, carry out operational checks, and uncover ways to improve acquisition, retention, conversion, and overall efficiency.
- Run affiliate marketing initiatives and user acquisition campaigns aimed at lifting first-time deposits and improving return on investment.
- Create and execute retention plans, VIP programs, and customer engagement initiatives to raise player value and long-term loyalty.
- Recruit, manage, and develop local teams, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement.
- Track competitor moves, market changes, and customer feedback, and coordinate reputation management and crisis communication activity.
- Work in close partnership with Product, CRM, Finance, Legal, and Technology teams to align local goals with wider business priorities.
- Monitor and improve key KPIs including acquisition costs, customer lifetime value, retention, revenue performance, payment efficiency, customer satisfaction, and brand reputation.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in iGaming, ideally in country management, affiliate marketing, traffic acquisition, product operations, or a similar function.
- Strong understanding of .com business models and commercial indicators such as CAC, LTV, NGR, affiliate revenue-share arrangements, and unit economics.
- Proven ability to launch, scale, or run operations in European, Indian, or Turkish markets.
- Good working knowledge of payment service providers and payment infrastructure in offshore or international gaming environments.
- Proven track record of building, leading, and scaling local teams, including recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and KPI tracking.
- Strong analytical approach with the ability to interpret dashboards, spot trends, and turn insights into performance improvements.
- Hands-on experience with affiliate platforms and tracking tools such as Affise, Tune, Cellxpert, or similar systems.
- Upper-intermediate English skills, plus strong communication and stakeholder management ability.
- Experience managing influencer, streamer, or partnership programs in the iGaming space.
- Helpful additions include knowledge of cryptocurrency payment solutions, responsible gaming, compliance workflows, BI tools, and reputation management methods.
Benefits and working style
- Full ownership of the market strategy, business performance, and P&L.
- Direct interaction with executive leadership and fast decision-making paths.
- High autonomy, supported by dedicated budgets for affiliates, partnerships, influencers, and operational initiatives.
- Access to experienced central teams across Product, CRM, Finance, Legal, and Technology.
- Clear performance metrics and structured opportunities for growth.
- Fully remote working arrangement.
- Flexible schedule designed to support work-life balance.
