Job description
About Bodily
Bodily is a rapidly growing, venture-backed company focused on innovating within the women's health sector. We develop research-backed products for significant life stages such as postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and pregnancy loss, applying a high level of scientific rigor and sophisticated design. Our backing includes prominent investors like Hearst Corporation, Morgan Stanley, and Global Founders Capital, as well as strategic partners such as Brooklyn Decker, Andy Roddick, and Katherine Schwarzenegger-Pratt. We have established a strong direct-to-consumer presence and are expanding our wholesale partnerships, including national distribution with Target, while executing an ambitious growth strategy across multiple channels.
The Opportunity
Bodily is entering an exciting phase of expansion and is seeking a Creative Lead to shape the brand's visual identity and customer-facing presence across all platforms. This is a hands-on role demanding significant ownership, where you will spearhead and implement creative direction for digital, social media, paid advertising, email marketing, e-commerce, and packaging. You will collaborate directly with the CMO for strategic alignment and approval, rather than operating from predefined briefs. This position is ideal for individuals who excel with autonomy and trust, and who are motivated by driving creative initiatives.
A core expectation for this role is AI fluency, integrated as a fundamental aspect of the creative workflow, not merely as an experimental tool. We are looking for a candidate who leverages AI to enhance speed, elevate creative output, and achieve objectives that might be challenging for a lean team.
Reporting to the CMO, you will work closely with the Growth Marketing Manager, E-commerce Manager, Social Media Manager, and external agency partners across various paid, organic, and third-party channels.
How You'll Make Your Mark
Brand & Creative Direction
- Spearhead Bodily's visual output across all digital touchpoints, including social media, email, e-commerce, paid advertising, packaging, and campaign materials, ensuring a cohesive and sophisticated brand aesthetic.
- Proactively identify and capitalize on opportunities to enhance the brand's visual presence, such as exploring new content formats, refining executions, addressing gaps in the visual system, and recognizing key moments for brand engagement.
- Initiate and present creative concepts and directions to the CMO for input and alignment, taking a leading role in the creative process.
- Develop and maintain robust visual systems, templates, and brand standards to facilitate team efficiency and maintain consistency.
Marketing Design, Digital & Ecommerce
- Design compelling assets for social media, email campaigns, paid advertisements, web interfaces, e-commerce platforms, and promotional campaigns, with a strong understanding of performance drivers and brand alignment.
- Produce creative assets tailored to campaign messaging, brand guidelines, promotional activities, product launches, and e-commerce objectives.
- Develop high-quality product detail page (PDP) assets that effectively communicate product benefits, features, and brand positioning.
- Support sales and promotional initiatives through the creation of assets for email campaigns, advertisements, homepage placements, and product listing page (PLP) cards.
- Generate mockups for website updates, campaign concepts, and merchandising strategies with efficiency and polish to facilitate decision-making.
Paid Media, Social & Video
- Create weekly static, GIF, and short-form video ad creatives for Meta and other paid advertising platforms, managing asset delivery to agency partners and incorporating performance data into future creative development.
- Collaborate with the Social Media Manager to produce short-form video content for both paid and organic social channels, including reels, story ads, product demonstrations, user-generated content-style edits, and campaign content. Proficiency in video editing timelines and an understanding of in-feed content performance are essential.
- Utilize AI-powered video and motion tools (e.g., CapCut, Gemini) to expand creative output and accelerate production without compromising quality.
- Provide creative input and support for the Social Media Manager by developing templates, visual systems, and campaign assets suitable for various formats and placements.
- Offer creative guidance and support for updates to product detail pages, A+ content, and storefronts on platforms such as Amazon, Target, and Walmart.
AI-Powered Creative Workflow
- Integrate AI tools for image generation, video enhancement, performance analysis, and copywriting assistance into daily workflows.
- Identify opportunities for AI to streamline production, increase testing velocity, and enable creative executions not feasible with current resources.
- Stay informed about emerging AI tools and advocate for those that enhance team capabilities.
Packaging & Print
- Contribute to the design development of new and existing product packaging.
- Prepare production-ready files, print specifications, and artwork revisions with meticulous attention to typography, color, hierarchy, and legal compliance.
- Assist in the creation of hang tags, care labels, inserts, and other printed materials.
- Maintain organized file structures, templates, and creative systems to ensure efficient production processes.
