Role Summary

Goodo Studios is looking for a highly motivated Creative Strategist who can shape and steer performance-focused creative for clients investing heavily in paid media. In this role, you will help guide ads that reach large audiences across social platforms and work closely with videographers, editors, and producers to build, test, and refine content that drives results.

This is a remote, full-time position based in Canada. You will have room to experiment with trends, creative angles, audience insights, and performance data across channels such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop ideas, write scripts, and direct videos and static ads built to perform across digital channels.
  • Study campaign results and use the data to generate new concepts, edits, and optimization ideas.
  • Create persuasive, conversion-focused scripts for new advertising assets.
  • Keep deliverables moving on time and ensure all content is handed off as scheduled.
  • Act as the main strategic point of contact for assigned clients, coordinating timelines, communication, feedback, and stakeholder alignment from brief to final delivery.
  • Partner with clients to identify strategic opportunities that improve ad spend efficiency and support KPI achievement.
  • Research audience mindsets, attitudes, and behaviors to strengthen creative direction.
  • Evaluate video assets and share feedback through collaboration tools so work meets brand standards, quality expectations, and deadlines.
  • Finalize and transfer completed assets to clients and internal stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Background in direct-to-consumer marketing.
  • Hands-on experience using performance data to shape new ad concepts or creative iterations.
  • Experience writing ads and scripts designed to convert, including for video and static formats.
  • Working knowledge of Facebook Ads Manager, Facebook Ads Library, TikTok Ads Library, and creative research tools such as Atria, MagicBrief, and Foreplay.
  • Strong organizational ability with experience using project management tools like Notion, Coda, and Asana, plus review platforms such as Frame and Air.
  • Comfort using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and similar emerging platforms.
  • Growth-oriented mindset with solid problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced, high-energy, entrepreneurial setting and juggle multiple priorities.
  • Strong awareness of culture and a sharp sense of trends and what drives performance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Positive, proactive, self-directed attitude.
  • Strong team orientation and collaborative working style.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is CAD 70,000 to CAD 90,000 per year, depending on experience. There is also potential for performance-based growth and advancement.
