Job description
Role overview
Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust is looking to appoint a CT Radiographer to join its busy radiology team. This position is well suited to a radiographer with a strong interest in computed tomography and a desire to build experience in this specialist area.
The service is currently growing, with ongoing expansion at QMC and further developments planned for the Nottingham Community Diagnostics Centre (CDC). Across the two sites, the department operates 7 CT scanners, and the QMC location also includes the Treatment Centre. The service supports emergency patients, outpatients, inpatients, and major trauma cases at QMC.
What the role involves
You will contribute to the delivery of a high-standard CT service in a busy, fast-moving environment, working alongside Senior CT Radiographers and other members of the multidisciplinary team. A strong focus on patient care and a positive patient experience is central to the role.
Working pattern
Radiology at Nottingham University Hospitals runs as a 7-day, 24-hour service. The post requires a flexible shift pattern made up of 12.5-hour day and night shifts, with 13 shifts scheduled across a 4-week period.
