Role overview
Rolls-Royce is seeking a Customer Manager to join Rolls-Royce & Partners Finance Limited (RRPF) in London/Orpington, England. RRPF operates as an engine leasing business with a major global portfolio of Rolls-Royce and IAE V2500-A5 engines, offering medium- and long-term spare engine leasing services. The business supports more than 50 customers around the world and manages a fleet of over 420 engines.
This position brings together customer-facing commercial work and analytical problem-solving. Acting as a link between customers and internal digital teams, you will help convert operational requirements into scalable digital solutions that create measurable business impact.
Key responsibilities
- Manage customer relationships through the full cycle, from early sales discussions to delivery and renewal.
- Interpret customer operating needs and turn them into clear digital and data requirements.
- Assist with pipeline building, proposal preparation, and contract discussions.
- Review customer information, usage behaviour, and return on investment to identify expansion opportunities.
- Work closely with delivery and product teams to support successful customer outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong knowledge of aviation operations and records-related workflows.
Required qualifications
- A degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Aviation, or a closely related discipline.
- Background in customer management, business analysis, or solution-based sales.
- Ability to convert operational challenges into structured requirements.
- Commercial judgement paired with strong analytical thinking.
- Excellent communication skills and proven stakeholder management ability.
Preferred experience
- Exposure to aviation, leasing, or aerospace settings.
- Experience with digital products or data platforms.
- Past involvement in proposals and contract negotiations.
- Strong capability in data analysis and reporting.
- Comfort working across product, delivery, and sales functions.
