About the role

This remote position is for a customer-oriented representative who will be the first contact for customers and help deliver a smooth support experience. The role involves handling questions through phone, email, and chat, offering clear guidance, and ensuring customers receive timely, helpful assistance. It suits someone who enjoys solving problems, communicating with care, and working in a fast-moving environment.

What you'll do

  • Reply to customer queries quickly and in a professional manner across phone, email, and live chat.
  • Share correct details about products, services, billing, and company policies.
  • Support customers with account-related needs, order tracking, troubleshooting, and general service requests.
  • Provide calm, empathetic, and solution-driven assistance that supports customer satisfaction.
  • Look into customer concerns and work toward efficient resolution.
  • Refer complicated cases to the right internal team when needed.
  • Record customer conversations, requests, and outcomes accurately.
  • Check back with customers to confirm issues have been resolved fully.
  • Build strong customer relationships through polite, professional communication.
  • Help strengthen retention by delivering consistent service quality.
  • Collect customer feedback and pass on useful insights for ongoing improvements.
  • Work with teammates to maintain a positive, customer-first environment.
  • Use CRM platforms and support tools to manage interactions effectively.
  • Keep customer files and documentation current and accurate.
  • Assist with updates to internal knowledge resources and support materials.
  • Follow company rules, procedures, and service expectations.

Requirements

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in customer service, customer support, or a similar role.
  • Strong spoken and written communication skills.
  • Good ability to resolve problems and handle conflict.
  • Comfort with juggling multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Well-developed organizational habits and careful attention to detail.
  • Self-driven, dependable, and able to work independently in a remote setup.
  • Working knowledge of basic computer tools, including Microsoft Office or similar software.
  • High school diploma or an equivalent qualification.
  • Prior exposure to CRM systems and customer support software is preferred.
  • Any extra training, certifications, or related education in customer service is a plus.
