Role Overview

The CV Writer will develop, edit, and polish professional resumes and CVs for healthcare and non-healthcare talent linked to VHP Hospital (Telehealth). This position is based on-site in the United Arab Emirates and requires engaging with clients or internal stakeholders to collect career background details, understand professional goals, and convert that information into clear, well-organized documents.

In this role, you will draft customized CVs and cover letters, tailor content to specific job opportunities, verify the accuracy of experience and qualifications, and make sure each document reflects current hiring expectations and industry best practices. You will also work closely with HR and recruitment teams to interpret role needs, uphold style and template standards, and keep documents consistent in tone, layout, and branding. Handling sensitive information responsibly and delivering multiple assignments on time are also key parts of the job.

Responsibilities

  • Create, revise, and refine resumes, CVs, and related application documents for a variety of professionals.
  • Interview clients or internal team members to gather career history, achievements, and job preferences.
  • Convert raw background information into concise, targeted, achievement-oriented content.
  • Write and tailor cover letters to match specific job requirements.
  • Check facts such as job titles, dates, experience, and qualifications for accuracy.
  • Adapt documents to align with current recruitment standards and ATS-friendly formatting.
  • Coordinate with HR and recruitment teams to understand role expectations and hiring priorities.
  • Maintain template structure, style consistency, and brand presentation across documents.
  • Protect confidential personal and employment information at all times.
  • Manage several requests at once while meeting agreed deadlines.

Requirements

  • Strong writing and editing ability, ideally with experience preparing CVs, resumes, or similar professional documents.
  • Capability to assess job descriptions and career backgrounds to build focused, results-driven CV content.
  • Excellent written and spoken English; knowledge of additional languages commonly used in the UAE is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of recruitment processes, ATS requirements, and contemporary CV presentation standards.
  • Careful attention to grammar, spelling, formatting, and overall document consistency.
  • Strong communication and interviewing skills to uncover accomplishments and clarify responsibilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, handle multiple assignments, and work effectively in a busy environment.
  • Professional judgment and discretion when working with sensitive personal data.
  • Comfort using word-processing and document formatting tools such as Microsoft Word and Google Docs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
