Role overview

This is a field-focused retention position based in Sandyford, Dublin 18. The role involves speaking with customers directly, both in person and by phone, to retain existing business and recover customers where possible. You will use the company’s offers, systems, and retention tools to resolve concerns, address objections, and support commercial goals.

The company is seeking a motivated, customer-oriented individual with background experience in retention, door-to-door selling, or inside sales. Experience within the utilities sector is useful but not mandatory. This role suits someone who thrives in a busy, target-driven environment and is energized by performance and progression.

Location and work arrangement

The role is based onsite in Sandyford, Dublin 18. Although the position is field-based, access to the office in Sandyford is available. A full, clean driver’s licence and use of your own vehicle are required. Mileage costs are reimbursed.

Key responsibilities

  • Engage customers face to face and over the phone to retain their business or bring them back
  • Work assigned warm leads and follow up with customers who need reassurance or assistance
  • Apply available tools, offers, and customer insights to improve retention outcomes
  • Respond to objections with confidence and steer discussions toward positive resolutions
  • Meet daily, weekly, and monthly performance goals
  • Maintain accurate customer information in internal systems
  • Assist the wider team with additional tasks as required

Experience and skills

The ideal candidate will have a strong record of achieving targets in sales or retention and at least 1 year of experience in door-to-door or inside sales. Success in this role depends on clear communication, the ability to build rapport quickly, and a calm, effective approach to objection handling. You should be self-driven, organised, and comfortable working independently. CRM knowledge is advantageous, though not essential. A full clean driving licence and access to a personal vehicle are mandatory.

Compensation and benefits

The package includes a base salary of €32,000 plus an uncapped bonus opportunity of €15,000, bringing earnings to an OTE of €47,000+.
