Role Purpose
This position focuses on reviewing current operational processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, maintaining databases, pulling data for analysis, and generating and evaluating reports to support business operations.
Location and Schedule
The role is based onsite at 4101 Percival Road in Columbia, South Carolina. It is a full-time position with a 40-hour workweek, scheduled Monday through Friday, in a standard office setting.
What You’ll Do
- Pull information from multiple systems and departments using a range of data extraction and manipulation methods for recurring, scheduled, and ad hoc reporting needs.
- Investigate data, analyze reports, build statistical models, and present findings to leadership.
- Spot inefficiencies in operations and help improve processes using available tools and expertise.
- Share results and reporting insights with other teams and stakeholders.
Required Education and Equivalent Experience
A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required. Equivalent qualifications include an associate’s degree plus 2 years of related work experience, or 4 years of related experience in place of a degree.
Skills and Tools Needed
- Strong organization, customer service, communication, and analytical abilities
- Comfort working with complex math, statistics, and quantitative reasoning
- Working knowledge of computer support systems relevant to the role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to develop programming skills across different software platforms
Preferred Background
- About 1 year of Power BI experience
- About 2 years of research and analysis experience
- Negotiation or persuasion skills
- Exposure to ICD-9/CPT-4 coding or the ability to learn it
- Experience with SAS, DB2, or another relational database
- Some development experience with Dynamics 365 CRM and Power Apps
Additional Details
This role is not eligible for sponsorship now or in the future. The work environment is a typical office setting, and some travel between buildings and occasional out-of-town travel may be required.
