Role Overview
We are looking for a Data Engineer to support cloud migration and large-scale data movement initiatives. The role centers on modernizing data platforms, building reliable ingestion and migration workflows, and ensuring migrated data is accurately reconciled and approved for sign-off.
Core Technical Needs
- Practical working familiarity with Cloudera is required.
- Hands-on experience with migrating data from Cloudera to cloud environments is mandatory.
- The position involves moving large historical datasets with care and accuracy.
- Work will include Azure Databricks using Spark and SQL for data processing tasks.
- Data reconciliation and final audit sign-off are key parts of the job.
- You should be comfortable with framework-driven ingestion and migration approaches.
- Azure Data Factory knowledge is needed, especially for building metadata-driven pipelines.
