Role Overview
DNAM Brands is hiring a careful and dependable Data Entry Clerk for its warehouse operations in Commerce, California. This position focuses on entering, updating, and maintaining information accurately across different systems. The right person will be highly organized, efficient, and comfortable working with large amounts of data while keeping errors to a minimum.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle data entry tasks and keep records current and accurate.
- Review, organize, and prepare documents before entering them into the system.
- Maintain records connected to inbound and outbound shipment activity.
- Enter documents correctly in Aspire and make sure they are complete for processing.
- Assist with creating labels.
- Use related tools and platforms such as FedEx, UPS, and EDI provider systems.
- Identify, track down, and fix data entry mistakes.
- Communicate information with internal team members and, when needed, external contacts.
- Set delivery appointments for incoming shipments and update the receiving appointment log for Operations.
- Set pickup appointments for outgoing shipments and update the shipping log for Operations.
- Support administrative tasks as needed.
- Complete other related duties assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or an equivalent credential is required; an associate degree or bachelor’s degree is an advantage.
- At least 1 to 2 years of experience in data entry or administrative work is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels, both internally and externally.
- Experience with a WMS or other warehouse management system is preferred, though training may be provided.
- Familiarity with BarTender software is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong ability to juggle multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
- Fast and accurate typing ability.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office, especially Excel, along with Google Workspace.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational habits.
- Ability to work independently and stay on schedule.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid time management and multitasking capabilities.
