Role Summary

This senior-to-managerial level role sits within the Data & Intelligence business unit and focuses on shaping, implementing, and improving data governance practices across the organization. The consultant will work with business, architecture, and project teams to establish clear governance structures, policies, workflows, and standards for data quality and enterprise alignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and put into practice a data governance framework, including the operating model, roles, and responsibilities.
• Develop and refine data governance workflows and process design.
• Gather requirements, perform business analysis, and contribute to data architecture-related activities connected to governance.
• Take part in data maturity assessments and gap analysis exercises.
• Work closely with enterprise architecture teams and broader data strategy stakeholders to keep governance aligned with organizational direction.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure data standards and models remain consistent with enterprise architecture and relevant standards.
• Define governance and data quality roles, procedures, and documentation to improve visibility into agency data assets.
• Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and translate business impacts into clear analysis and communication.
• Support the setup and operation of data offices.
• Help design and implement project-level governance structures, including policies, standards, procedures, operating model, and data quality controls.
• Contribute to maturity assessments and change management activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in delivery of data governance initiatives and projects.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in IT or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Professional certifications such as DAMA, Informatica, or Collibra are preferred.
• Strong ability to work with business users, project teams, and architecture stakeholders.
• Experience supporting governance frameworks, data standards, and data quality practices.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English is highly desirable.

Additional Information

This position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is a full-time onsite opportunity. The role is positioned at a senior to managerial level within the Data & Intelligence unit.
