Cint Group AB (publ) is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm and has teams in cities including Stockholm, London, New York, New Orleans, Singapore, Tokyo, and Sydney.

Role Overview

As a Data Scientist, you will work with the Data Science and Analytics teams and partner with product and engineering groups on Media Measurement and Data Solutions products. Your work will involve data analysis, building statistical and machine learning methodologies, developing codebases, and validating models. This role suits someone who is proactive, comfortable handling large datasets, and eager to help shape products that connect Cint’s capabilities with market needs.

What You Will Do

  • Take part in building, validating, and maintaining models.
  • Work through large datasets to uncover patterns, trends, and useful insights while maintaining data quality and result reliability.
  • Handle client-specific requests, including analysis, data manipulation, and the preparation of summary outputs.
  • Work closely with teams across functions to achieve broader project objectives.
  • Help create methodologies and assist with the validation, upkeep, and improvement of statistical and machine learning models.
  • Contribute to assessing and validating internal and external products so they perform effectively for Cint.
  • Present findings and recommendations using visuals and presentations suited to varied audiences.

Requirements

  • A master’s degree, or an equivalent qualification, in Statistics, Quantitative Sciences, Data Science, Operations Research, or a similar quantitative discipline.
  • At least 2 years of experience in data science and analytics, ideally in market research or advertising analytics.
  • The ability to independently handle, interpret, and analyze large data sources.
  • Strong knowledge of core statistical methods, including distribution properties, hypothesis testing, parametric and non-parametric testing, survey design, sampling theory, experimental design, regression and predictive modelling, classification, and stochastic modelling/simulation.
  • Exposure to multiple machine learning approaches such as clustering, regression, and tree-based models, along with an understanding of their strengths and limitations in practice.
  • Hands-on experience applying statistical and modelling techniques.
  • Excellent analytical ability with a strong focus on model validation and accuracy.
  • A willingness to learn new methods, tools, and approaches.
  • Comfort working independently while contributing to overall project direction and team goals.
  • Strong Python skills for statistical analysis and machine learning implementation.

Bonus Experience

  • Background in media measurement and digital attribution.
  • Experience with multivariate testing.
  • Exposure to online survey methodologies.
  • Ability to write and improve SQL queries.
  • Experience working with big data tools such as Spark.
