Job description
Role overview
This full-time driving opportunity is based in Christchurch, Canterbury. The position is for a Class 5 truck driver with Road Ranger gearbox experience, supporting scheduled deliveries across the workday.
Working pattern
- Work runs from Monday through Friday.
- Operating hours are between 6:00am and 6:00pm.
- Shift start and finish times change based on the day’s delivery plan.
Key duties
- Operate a Class 5 truck fitted with a Road Ranger, non-synchromesh gearbox.
- Complete deliveries safely, efficiently, and within required timeframes.
Requirements
- Current Class 5 driver licence.
- Demonstrated experience driving trucks with a Road Ranger gearbox.
- Good knowledge of road safety practices and load securing.
- Fit enough to help with manual lifting or handling when needed.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional in approach.
- Comfortable with variable start and finish times.
