Job description
Job overview
Domino’s is expanding and is hiring Delivery Experts for its Humboldt, TN location. The company emphasizes a people-first culture and is looking for team members who can help deliver pizzas efficiently and safely.
This role offers immediate hiring, with the flexibility to choose short or long shifts. Both part-time and full-time schedules are available, so candidates can select hours that suit their availability.
Compensation
Drivers generally earn more than $20 per hour when wage, tips, and mileage reimbursement are combined. Mileage reimbursement and tips are paid daily, while hourly wages are paid every other Friday.
Candidates may use their own vehicle and receive mileage reimbursement that helps cover fuel and other vehicle-related costs. Alternatively, eligible drivers may use a company-provided vehicle. To use a company car, the driver must be at least 21 years old, have at least 2 years of driving history, and maintain a clean driving record.
Role overview
Delivery Experts are expected to complete deliveries quickly and safely using the company’s delivery technology. The role is designed to support efficient routing and faster service, which can also improve earning potential.
Drivers can build their own work schedule and choose from available part-time or full-time shifts based on personal needs.
Requirements
Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and able to pass a background check. A valid driver’s license with a safe driving record is required, and the Motor Vehicle Report will be reviewed.
Candidates must have a dependable vehicle along with valid insurance, unless they qualify to use a company vehicle. Strong navigation skills are needed, including the ability to read maps, follow directions, and find addresses within the delivery area.
The job also requires the ability to work in varied terrain, including multi-story buildings, and to perform well under pressure while maintaining quality and customer service standards.
Work conditions
Delivery work may involve exposure to changing weather, temperature shifts, food odors, cornmeal dust, compact work areas, very hot equipment, and sharp or moving parts.
Physical demands
The job includes walking between the store, vehicle, and customer locations; carrying pizzas and drinks; and climbing stairs, sometimes more than five flights. Drivers must use safe driving practices and may handle several deliveries per shift.
Other physical tasks include repeated bending, reaching, gripping, and hand coordination while preparing, handling, and assembling products and packaging. Vision, hearing, and spatial awareness are important for both in-store work and driving.
Growth and opportunity
Domino’s highlights internal growth opportunities, with paths that can lead to Shift Lead, Assistant Manager, General Manager, and other advancement options. The company also notes that many franchise owners began their careers as delivery drivers.
Diversity and workplace values
The organization says it values individuality, inclusion, and the use of diverse talents to help every team member reach their potential.
Franchise notice
This position is with an independently owned and operated franchise store. Employment decisions, including hiring, pay, scheduling, and benefits, are handled by the franchisee. Applications are not reviewed by corporate Domino’s, and the franchisee is the direct employer.
Additional information
Domino’s describes its workplace as focused on honesty, transparency, accountability, and safety, with an emphasis on stability and putting people first.
