About Davy
Davy has spent a century building its reputation on the strength of its people. Founded in 1926, the Davy Group is a central part of Ireland’s wealth and capital landscape, serving high-net-worth individuals, self-directed investors, SMEs, credit unions, corporates, and both domestic and international institutional investors.
The organisation is guided by three core values: client success, one Davy, and building a proud legacy. With a team of more than 900 people, Davy offers an environment that encourages both professional and personal growth.
About the role
The Delivery Manager will be instrumental in the launch and operational rollout of a new product at Davy. Working under the Head of Delivery, this person will help ensure that delivery governance, operating processes, and cross-functional execution all come together to support a successful launch and stable ongoing service.
This role acts as a bridge between delivery, operations, technology, and business stakeholders, helping to put scalable processes in place, manage delivery structures, and make sure the business is fully prepared across all relevant touchpoints.
Delivery and implementation
- Assist the Head of Delivery in carrying out the rollout plan for the new product.
- Bring product squads and enabling teams together so delivery stays on schedule and remains effective.
- Monitor key milestones and actively manage risks, issues, and dependencies as they arise.
- Ensure work follows Davy’s internal delivery approach and governance expectations.
- Set up and embed the workflows, controls, and processes needed to support the product launch.
Governance and reporting
- Help run delivery governance forums, including working groups and steering committees.
- Create clear, high-quality updates for senior stakeholders, including status reports, risk registers, and performance information.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory obligations and internal risk controls throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Stakeholder management
- Act as a coordination point across Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, and senior leadership, supporting the Head of Delivery.
- Keep senior stakeholders informed with timely and effective communication to maintain alignment and visibility.
- Develop strong working relationships across the business to support collaboration and successful delivery.
Process improvement and optimisation
- Look for opportunities to make delivery work more efficient and effective.
- Apply proven delivery management practices to improve execution.
- Support continuous improvement work aimed at strengthening overall performance.
About you
You will bring experience in delivery, operations, or programme management, ideally in financial services, along with the ability to operate in a complex and highly collaborative environment. The role suits someone who is comfortable working across business, technology, operations, and governance disciplines while helping to deliver a new product successfully.
Experience and background
- At least 3 years of experience in delivery, operations, or programme management within financial services.
- Experience introducing or operationalising new products, preferably in wealth management, capital markets, or banking.
- A strong record of working across complex, cross-functional delivery settings.
- Previous exposure to regulatory and compliance requirements in financial services.
Technical and professional skills
- Good knowledge of delivery approaches such as Agile, Waterfall, or blended models.
- Strong capability in managing risks and issues.
- Confidence using reporting and delivery tools such as JIRA and Confluence, along with maintaining delivery documentation.
Soft skills
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing ability.
- Excellent planning, organisation, and attention to detail.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem solving.
