Job description
About the Practice
Lumino The Dentists is dedicated to creating warm, memorable experiences for patients while supporting better oral health and overall wellbeing across Aotearoa. As a leading dental network in New Zealand with strong nationwide recognition, the organisation invests in modern equipment, thorough training, and continuous development so clinicians can succeed and progress in their careers.
Role Overview
This opportunity is for a Dentist to join the established, community-oriented Lumino Feilding practice in Feilding, Manawatū-Whanganui. The team is friendly and experienced, and the practice has long served the local community. The employer is open to either full-time or part-time employment and can adapt the role to suit the right candidate’s lifestyle and professional goals. The patient books are already full, so the clinic is looking for a dentist ready to take responsibility for the oral health needs of the community.
Bonus Package and Support
- Relocation assistance of up to $15,000
- $10,000 laboratory credit to help establish and grow your patient base
- Accommodation support for the first 6 months
The role also comes with real clinical independence, the chance to follow your own professional interests, a supportive team environment, a generous continuing professional development allowance, and performance-linked bonus incentives. Additional advantages include access to modern equipment, strong earning potential, and a respectful workplace culture.
Community and Lifestyle
Whanganui is presented as an affordable and relaxed location with a rich cultural background, short commutes, and easy access to rivers, beaches, and outdoor recreation. It is a strong option for people seeking a slower pace of life, lower living costs, and improved work-life balance.
What You Will Do
- Provide high-quality dental treatment with a patient-centred approach
- Work closely with an experienced and supportive clinical team
- Exercise clinical autonomy while being backed by a wider national network
- Develop lasting relationships with patients in the local community
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant is a dentist who cares deeply about patient wellbeing and enjoys working in a collaborative, close-knit environment. You should be comfortable handling a broad range of dental procedures, communicate clearly with patients, and contribute positively as part of a team.
Applicants must have at least 2 years of post-graduate experience and hold, or be able to obtain, registration with the NZ Dental Council along with a current Annual Practising Certificate.
Why Join
- Backed by a strong national brand and support network
- Access to modern practices and advanced technology
- Clear commitment to professional growth and learning
- Flexible working arrangements to support lifestyle balance
- Inclusive, welcoming, and values-driven culture
- Excellent earning potential with 40% commission
