- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and vendors to keep materials and services moving on time.
- Offer technical guidance to the project team and help resolve engineering problems during the project lifecycle.
- Interpret drawings, specifications, and technical data to support sound project decisions.
- Apply practical engineering solutions to on-ground issues while limiting impact on deadlines and cost.
- Contribute to engineering best practices that improve efficiency, safety, and execution quality.
- Take part in technical discussions and reviews and share recommendations to improve outcomes.
- Track quality checks across project phases and ensure the work meets required standards.
- Carry out inspections and tests on materials, equipment, and systems to confirm compliance with project and regulatory requirements.
- Record quality deviations or non-conformities and work with the team on corrective actions.
- Help build and implement quality assurance processes for project delivery.
- Ensure project activities comply with relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
- Join safety audits and inspections, identify hazards, and support risk mitigation measures.
- Assist in preparing risk assessments, method statements, and safety plans.
- Maintain complete and current project records, including drawings, specifications, status updates, and inspection logs.
- Prepare progress reports for the Projects Lead, summarizing achievements, issues, and follow-up items.
- Support preparation of as-built documents after project completion.
- Work with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to keep communication and coordination smooth throughout the project.
- Attend project meetings and provide updates on engineering work and execution status.
- Liaise with external partners to close technical gaps and stay aligned on timelines and deliverables.
- Explain technical matters clearly to colleagues outside engineering when needed.
- Stay current on developments in engineering practices, technologies, and standards relevant to PNG or CNG projects.
