Role purpose
This role is centered on building and improving the Branch Management System and the data warehouse used for business MIS consolidation. The position calls for hands-on involvement in business requirement analysis, solution and system design documentation, data structures, and delivery management. It also includes leading both individual contributors and a team, while bringing strong domain knowledge to projects and solution rollouts.

Aditya Birla Capital operates in a large-scale, highly regulated, and fast-moving financial services environment. The business handles a daily turnover of more than 1,000 crores and has significantly expanded its market share across multiple segments. It works under the oversight of regulators and agencies such as SEBI, RBI, AMFI, FMC, IRDA, NSE, BSE, NCDX, MCX, NSDL, and CDSL. The role sits within the business solution group and supports a competitive landscape that includes major national broking and distribution organizations.
What the team is building
The business solution group is responsible for the branch management platform and for MIS consolidation through data warehousing and automation. A key objective is to reduce manual work, improve cost efficiency, and provide a common dashboard that shows the overall health of the organization across operations and sales.
The branch management system is expected to support:
- Branch servicing for B2B use cases such as branch expenses analysis, payment reminders, profitability tracking, and legal case tracking.
- Customer servicing for B2C use cases such as customer information, active/dormant status, brokerage details, and CRM interactions.
- Employee servicing for B2E use cases such as branch employee master data, dealer productivity, incentive claims, and claim status tracking.
The end-to-end solution ownership includes working closely with functional owners, aligning delivery priorities with business goals, planning resources, and managing timelines.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the analysis, design, and development planning for the Branch Management System and data warehouse initiatives.
- Handle business requirement gathering and convert requirements into FSDs, SSDs, and related solution documents.
- Define the technical approach, data elements, integrations, architecture, and delivery estimates for platform work.
- Manage project execution, review progress regularly, and coordinate steering committee discussions when needed.
- Oversee MIS consolidation through automation and common-platform reporting across functions.
- Support dashboards and reporting for metrics such as market share, segment/exchange/instrument performance, revenue breakup, profitability, costs, and branch-level targets versus revenue.
- Track sales-process-related measures such as dealer productivity and research call activity, including customer outreach based on business rules.
- Own application management activities, including change classification, defect/fix handling, SIT support, and production movement with impact analysis.
- Manage development teams, review performance, monitor timesheets, and track key operational indicators.
- Engage continuously with internal and external stakeholders to ensure solutions remain aligned with business priorities and operational efficiency.

- Create a shared servicing portal for B2B, B2C, and B2E workflows.
- Streamline MIS consolidation by reducing manual intervention through automation.
- Deliver consolidated reporting on all key business metrics across departments and functions.
- Support operational automation requirements and align them with broader business process needs.
- Maintain application changes, enhancements, and fixes with timely turnaround and proper change control.
- Coordinate solution ownership from requirement capture through production release.
