Role Overview
RALLY is hiring a Digital Designer to join its creative team and shape visual stories for major social-impact campaigns. The role centers on turning campaign strategy into digital and social assets that help nonprofits communicate clearly, inspire action, and create measurable momentum.
You will work closely with strategists, communicators, and digital specialists to create everything from digital ads and short-form video to reports and presentations. The position suits someone who enjoys fast-paced, collaborative work, can move comfortably between formats, and can refine concepts quickly while preserving quality and consistency.
Responsibilities
The work spans digital design, social content, campaign production, and collaboration.
- Design attention-grabbing social content such as static graphics, carousels, stories, paid ads, and short-form video.
- Adapt approved creative into multiple social formats while keeping visuals consistent across accounts and calendars.
- Create digital marketing assets including ads, email visuals, newsletter creative, and landing page graphics.
- Design decks, reports, toolkits, and fact sheets that present complex information clearly and attractively.
- Turn strategy into visual solutions that motivate audiences to respond.
- Track design, social, and emerging technology trends, including AI-powered design tools, and bring fresh ideas into brainstorming sessions.
- Manage multiple projects at once, communicate timelines, and help resolve blockers proactively.
- Work with creative leads and cross-functional partners to revise work based on feedback.
- Join client meetings and presentations with professionalism and flexibility.
- Contribute to website work through wireframes, interface mockups, and web assets.
- Prepare files for print and digital production, including quality checks, optimization, and accessibility review.
- Support campaign and brand development through moodboards, visual research, color exploration, and logo directions.
Requirements
This role calls for a designer with solid digital experience, strong visual judgment, and a collaborative mindset.
- 3 to 5 years of professional digital design experience in an agency, in-house team, freelance setting, or mission-driven organization.
- A portfolio that shows strong design fundamentals, close attention to detail, clear storytelling, and range across digital ads, social media, and campaign presentations.
- Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva, and Google Workspace, especially Google Slides.
- Helpful experience with basic video editing tools such as CapCut.
- Understanding of what works on TikTok, Instagram Reels, Snapchat, and LinkedIn, including the ability to create platform-specific content and light copy.
- Comfort working in a feedback-rich environment, taking direction well, and moving quickly through revisions.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to explain design decisions clearly.
- Ability to simplify complex social issues into accessible and engaging creative work.
- Strong organizational skills, including balancing several projects at once and tracking time accurately across accounts.

Work Arrangement
