About the Role

Taco, Inc. is seeking a Digital Designer to shape, build, improve, and maintain its digital customer experiences and branded online touchpoints. In this position, you will contribute to website updates, UX/UI work, motion and video content, digital advertising creative, email assets, and broader digital marketing efforts. The role calls for someone who can juggle several assignments at once, work within set brand guidelines and systems, and deliver polished work in a fast-moving setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, update, maintain, and improve company websites and digital experiences using WordPress and front-end web tools.
  • Develop responsive creative assets such as landing pages, email graphics, digital ads, web banners, and marketing support materials.
  • Produce graphics and visual content for mobile apps and other digital platforms.
  • Contribute to UX/UI work through wireframes, page layouts, prototypes, user journeys, and interface design.
  • Use UX/UI best practices to strengthen usability, customer experience, and digital engagement across web properties and other touchpoints.
  • Partner with marketing, product management, engineering, IT, sales, and customer support teams.
  • Build motion graphics, animations, and video content for campaigns, product launches, internal communications, training, and trade show support.
  • Help with on-site filming and content capture for events, products, training, internal programs, and trade shows when needed.
  • Design and maintain email templates and internal communication visuals.
  • Manage internal messaging content for digital monitor platforms, including Rise Vision.
  • Support SEO-friendly website practices and broader digital optimization efforts.
  • Implement website functionality improvements, customer forms, landing pages, and user-experience updates.
  • Track work, timelines, deliverables, and priorities in project management tools such as Asana.
  • Work in Figma and other collaborative design systems to keep creative output consistent and aligned.
  • Organize production files, digital assets, and design systems in a clean and usable way.
  • Coordinate with vendors and outside creative partners as needed.
  • Maintain accuracy and brand consistency across all digital customer interactions.
  • Support print creative, product photography, presentations, and additional marketing work when required.
  • Stay up to date on developments in digital design, UX/UI, motion, and web technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Digital Design, Graphic Design, Marketing, Web Design, UX/UI, or a related discipline.
  • At least 7 years of professional experience in digital and/or marketing design.
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
  • Practical knowledge of WordPress, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design principles.
  • Hands-on experience using Figma in collaborative design workflows.
  • Experience with project management platforms such as Asana.
  • Solid understanding of UX/UI principles, responsive design, accessibility standards, and digital user behavior.
  • Strong planning, time management, and project coordination abilities.
  • Comfort managing several priorities at once while meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and also function effectively within cross-departmental teams.
  • Clear communication skills, with the flexibility to take direction and adapt quickly.
  • High attention to detail and a strong commitment to brand consistency.
  • Ability to turn technical information into visually engaging and easy-to-follow content.
  • Comfort working within structured systems, processes, and established brand standards.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for creative work, trade shows, filming, or vendor visits.
  • Preferred: experience with motion graphics, video editing, and content capture.
  • Preferred: exposure to JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, or jQuery.
  • Preferred: experience with email marketing tools such as Constant Contact.
  • Preferred: familiarity with SEO and website analytics.
  • Preferred: experience working in structured brand systems and digital asset management environments.

Work Environment

This is primarily an office-based role involving computers and technology. You must be able to communicate verbally and hear clearly. At times, you may enter the production plant, where large machinery and higher noise levels are present; safety equipment is required in those areas.

This role may be performed from home up to two days per week, provided performance remains in good standing. There are no direct reports in this position.
