Role Overview

As a Digital Display System Operator in Cubic Defense, you will handle operations and maintenance for the P4-SAKITS Display/Debriefing Systems, following the relevant technical manuals and site procedures. The position supports mission exercises, replay and debrief activities, records management, and customer coordination with the RSAF.

Key Duties

You will be responsible for loading programs for testing and daily operation, running subsystem checks to confirm readiness, preparing pre-mission data on the Data Transfer Device (DTD), and tracking DTD handovers to and from aircrews. The role also includes running graphics terminals during live exercises, helping with display and control tasks, supporting replay and debrief setup, and providing technical support to RSAF personnel and aircrews.

Additional responsibilities include maintaining mission tape storage, keeping detailed mission event logs with date, time, event, remarks, and operator information, documenting mission replay entries, reporting any system or aircraft issues clearly, and passing relevant details to the P4-SAKITS pod shop for follow-up testing. You will also archive completed log books in the technical library, keep them accessible for RSAF reviews, interface with the RSAF on sortie effectiveness, and prepare monthly status information that captures partial or unsuccessful missions and the operating condition of the system.

The role further involves producing exercise status printouts when requested, activating the display to enable hard-copy printing of selected displays, carrying out additional tasks assigned by the Site Supervisor, supporting P4-SAKITS F-15 operations and maintenance as needed, assisting colleagues to ensure customer service delivery, and helping with project equipment setup when required.

Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate should have bilingual Arabic and English proficiency, previous experience in a similar position, and the ability to follow company standards for field assignments. Strong communication, careful attention to detail, teamwork, self-direction, and the ability to perform under pressure are important. The role also requires comfort working in confined spaces and the physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Education and Preferred Background

A college-level qualification in a technical discipline, or an equivalent mix of technical education and military experience, is required. A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Avionics, Computer Engineering, or a related field is preferred. A Saudi-government-recognized certificate of Arabic/English bilingual proficiency, such as STEP, TOEFL, or an equivalent credential, is also desirable.
