The internship is focused on helping the team plan and deliver digital asset rollouts, coordinate across departments, and ensure clear, accurate communication with the marketing team, media partners, online promotional teams, and exhibitors.
The placement is paid at the London Living Wage rate of £96.95 per day, paid monthly, which works out to approximately £25,207 per year.
What you will do
- Support approval and delivery of marketing materials such as trailers, online spots, social content, and other digital assets, making sure they reach internal stakeholders and external agencies on time.
- Track competitor activity and share findings with the UK marketing team.
- Help the Digital Manager and Publicity team prepare and launch trailers and clips online.
- Assist with reviewing and approving exhibitor activity.
- Coordinate closely with the Digital Manager and other UK teams to keep information flowing smoothly and deadlines on track.
- Keep suppliers and agencies informed about release timelines and promotional plans.
- Maintain organised digital asset folders and files.
- Support the social calendar and help brief the social agency, including providing feedback as needed.
- Help manage influencer campaigns and events such as premieres, screenings, and content shoots.
- Edit and amend materials using Adobe tools.
- Use TikTok knowledge to contribute to the team’s digital approach.
Experience and skills expected
The role suits a recent school or university leaver with a bachelor’s degree in business marketing, a related subject, or equivalent experience in a corporate office setting, who is ready to begin a career in media.
Candidates should be comfortable handling several tasks at once, working against competing deadlines, and using Adobe Suite tools including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. A good grasp of the UK digital marketing and social media environment, especially current online trends and TikTok, is also important.
Strong English communication skills are required, along with the ability to build productive relationships with both internal colleagues and external partners. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, accurate, efficient with time, proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable in a busy environment with a heavy workload. The position may involve working outside normal hours.
Personal qualities that matter include a calm and positive attitude, empathy, good humour, honesty, integrity, and a genuine interest in the film industry.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be over 18 and either a recent school leaver or a graduate.
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK full-time for the full 12-month period, either indefinitely or through a valid visa. Proof will be requested later in the process.
- An up-to-date CV and a tailored cover letter are required, and applicants are asked to apply only for the placement that interests them most.
- The successful candidate must be able to commit to the full 12-month term beginning at the end of September 2026.
- A UK bank account in the applicant’s own name is required.
