Role Overview
This position sits within the Private Banking function in Qatar and focuses on expanding and deepening the value of the client portfolio. The role is centered on serving high-net-worth clients, bringing in new relationships, and driving business growth across a range of banking and investment solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow the overall value of the client portfolio by delivering Private Banking products and services and identifying prospective customers.
- Engage with high-net-worth clients to shape solutions and recommendations around their individual requirements.
- Spot opportunities to work with other banking specialists so client needs are addressed effectively and revenue potential is fully captured.
- Improve profitability from the Private Banking book while staying competitive against alternative investment providers in the market.
- Protect the bank from losses, fraud, and anti-money-laundering risks by following sound ethical and control practices.
- Maintain the bank’s reputation by consistently demonstrating professional and ethical conduct throughout the sales cycle and beyond.
- Strengthen market visibility and awareness for the Private Banking proposition.
- Deliver revenue, sales, and portfolio growth targets across offerings such as investments, term deposits, CASA balances, treasury/cash management, FX trading, and share financing.
- Bring in new-to-bank high-net-worth clients.
- Provide a consistently high level of client service by anticipating issues and following up proactively.
- Reduce customer attrition through regular contact and relationship management.
