Role Summary
This full-time remote position is responsible for leading district-level operations for multiple car wash sites. The District Operations Manager ensures that standards for operations, safety, and customer experience are applied consistently across the territory. The role combines field leadership, financial oversight, team development, and cross-functional coordination to improve performance and support revenue growth.
Key Duties
- Oversee the day-to-day running of multiple locations within the district.
- Make sure operational processes, safety practices, and service standards are followed consistently.
- Track performance indicators and use them to guide improvement efforts.
- Manage budgets, monitor expenses, and look for ways to reduce unnecessary costs.
- Support sales and revenue growth across the district.
- Hire, train, schedule, and coach site leaders and team members.
- Promote a workplace culture built on accountability, inclusion, and strong performance.
- Visit sites regularly to assess operations and provide hands-on support.
- Inspect equipment and facility condition, and coordinate maintenance when needed.
- Roll out company initiatives and ensure they are implemented effectively at the site level.
- Work closely with teams in HR, Finance, and Marketing to meet district objectives.
Qualifications
- Background in managing operations across multiple units, ideally in retail, automotive services, car wash, or another service-based industry.
- Strong leadership capability with experience hiring, training, mentoring, and developing diverse teams.
- Ability to analyze budgets, operational reports, and financial data to support informed decisions.
- Excellent planning, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work well with cross-functional stakeholders and present recommendations to leadership.
- Experience maintaining safety, quality, and customer service standards in a fast-moving field environment.
- Comfort using operational software, reporting tools, and mobile apps for communication and tracking performance.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned district for site visits, audits, and team meetings.
- A valid driver’s license and dependable transportation are required.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in Business is preferred.

This role is based in the Greater St. Louis area and is structured as remote work with regular district travel.
