Job description

Role overview

Brandt is looking for a Division Manager to lead the Eastern Region from the Vars Brandt Peterbilt branch. This position reports to the VP of Operations - Peterbilt and calls for a driven leader with several years of steadily increasing management experience.

The role focuses on improving sales and profitability across multiple branches, meeting asset management and market share objectives, guiding employee growth, and overseeing receivables for the branches in the division.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, deliver, and complete annual branch budgets for the assigned territory.
  • Drive sales expansion and profitability across every division function, including wholegoods, parts, service, and administration.
  • Meet asset management targets related to turn, aging, and company asset protection, while maintaining the right inventory mix to support sales and market share goals.
  • Lead, coach, and develop employees throughout the division to build a committed team focused on long-term success for the company, customers, and staff.
  • Set performance expectations for branch managers and assess results using company-provided KPIs.
  • Deliver the market share results agreed upon for the long-term benefit of the manufacturer and the company.
  • Share insights on upcoming opportunities and competitive challenges.
  • Oversee division receivables in coordination with the Director of Credit Services.
  • Maintain a consistent on-site presence at assigned branches to provide direction and supervision.
  • Collaborate with suppliers.
  • Take part in branch and community-facing activities such as customer fly-ins, open houses, and recruitment events.
