Role Summary

This dock role focuses on handling freight safely and efficiently at the terminal. The right candidate will be comfortable working with dock equipment, moving shipments, and supporting day-to-day terminal operations.

Key Duties

  • Operate all dock equipment required for the role in a safe and effective manner.
  • Load and unload different types of freight.
  • Scan and check both inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Record any missing items or freight damage.
  • Support housekeeping and cleanup work within and around the terminal.
  • Carry out routine dock inspections.
  • Help customers who are collecting or dropping off freight.
  • Be available for weekend shifts and on-call duties.

Required Background

  • Experience working in a warehouse or cross-dock environment.
  • Hands-on experience using forklifts, dollies, pallet jacks, and hydraulic or electric equipment.
  • Strong organizational ability.

Additional Notes
