Role summary
This full-time, on-site position in Abuja is for a Document Control Officer responsible for keeping important company records accurate, well-organized, and easy to retrieve. The role centers on building and running document control practices that support data integrity, compliance, and smooth internal operations.
Core duties
- Set up and manage document control procedures across the organization.
- Organize, store, track, and maintain business documents and records.
- Help ensure documentation remains accurate, complete, and accessible when needed.
- Support compliance with internal standards as well as applicable regulatory requirements.
- Maintain quality-focused documentation practices and related recordkeeping systems.
Qualifications
- Solid knowledge of documentation workflows and document management.
- Hands-on experience with records management processes.
- Good understanding of quality assurance and quality management principles.
- Strong organizational ability with careful attention to detail.
- Comfort using document control tools and software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related discipline.
- Experience preparing project or process documentation will be an added advantage.
- High ethical standards when working with sensitive and confidential information.
