Overview
Al Muhaidib 1st Mission is looking for a Document Controller to handle the organization, upkeep, and control of project and company records in line with internal standards and client requirements. This is a full-time onsite position in Riyadh, with a six-day work week.
The role involves receiving, checking, logging, and sharing documents and drawings with the relevant stakeholders. It also requires keeping records current, tracking revisions, managing version control, and archiving files so they can be retrieved easily when needed.
Key Duties
The Document Controller will coordinate with project teams to ensure documents are delivered on time, assist with audits and compliance checks, prepare regular reports on document status, apply document control procedures, answer documentation-related queries, and work with colleagues to improve workflows and documentation tools.
Responsibilities
- Maintain project and corporate documents and records according to approved control procedures and version-management practices.
- Receive, review, register, route, and distribute documents, drawings, and related files to the right parties.
- Keep document logs updated, monitor revisions, and ensure version accuracy and traceability.
- Archive records in an organized way to support quick and easy retrieval.
- Coordinate with project teams to meet submission deadlines and document deliverables.
- Support internal audits, compliance reviews, and other control checks.
- Prepare periodic status updates and reports related to document control activities.
- Respond to document-related questions and support improvements in document workflows and tools.
Requirements
- Saudi nationality is required.
- A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Executive Secretarial studies, English, or a closely related field.
- Strong English proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking.
- Preference for candidates with STEP, IELTS, or Duolingo results, except for applicants who majored in English.
- Experience working with document control systems and tools such as MS Office, PDF tools, shared drives, or DMS platforms.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong organization, and solid time-management skills.
- Ability to maintain data integrity and work accurately under pressure.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced project environment with competing priorities and deadlines.
- Six working days per week.

This is a full-time role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. All document handling must align with company procedures, client expectations, and internal compliance standards.
