Role overview
This permanent full-time driving position is based in Mandurah, Western Australia. The role offers an hourly wage with potential overtime and involves early morning starts, with optional weekend shifts available.
What you’ll be doing
- Operating waste collection vehicles in a safe and compliant manner.
- Handling the loading and unloading of commercial and industrial waste, materials, or consignments.
- Transporting loads to approved recycling and disposal sites.
- Providing a high standard of service to customers.
- Keeping the vehicle clean and well-presented, both inside and outside.
- Following all relevant fatigue management rules, regulations, and training requirements.
What we’re looking for
- An unrestricted HR licence is required at minimum.
- You must be available to begin work early in the morning.
- You should be physically capable of carrying out loading and unloading tasks.
- Experience or ability to operate different types of trucks is needed.
- A clean driving history is essential.
- You should present professionally and demonstrate strong customer service standards.
- A strong focus on safety and a team-oriented mindset are important.
- You must be able to complete pre-employment medical and drug screening.
