Ecommerce Manager (Maternity Cover)

Role Overview

Evergreen Healthfoods is hiring an experienced Ecommerce Manager for a fixed-term maternity cover contract of 12 months. The role is based full-time at the company’s head office in Galway, County Galway, and requires attendance on site five days each week.

This position leads the daily running and overall performance of the ecommerce channel, with responsibility for increasing online revenue through trading actions, merchandising improvements, journey optimisation and campaign delivery. The successful candidate will help support continued growth across health, wellness, supplements and skincare.

Ecommerce Trading & Performance

• Take ownership of weekly and monthly ecommerce sales results.
• Track performance against revenue, conversion and average order value targets.
• Spot issues and growth opportunities quickly, then act to improve results.
• Assist with seasonal promotions, new product introductions and campaign-led trading.
• Ensure the website remains stable and that any incidents or technical issues are resolved promptly.

Website Merchandising & Optimisation

• Manage merchandising across the homepage, category pages and product pages.
• Improve internal search, filtering and product discovery experiences.
• Enhance the customer journey to lift onsite conversion rates.

Analytics & Reporting

• Track and report on key ecommerce performance indicators.
• Review trading trends and turn findings into practical actions.

Product & Content Management

• Oversee new product launches, imagery and product copy.
• Make sure product data is accurate, optimised for search and commercially strong.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to strengthen product storytelling.
• Support SEO-focused blog content and category page content development.

CRM, Digital Marketing & Campaign Management

• Own the ecommerce campaign plan in partnership with the wider marketing team.
• Create, schedule and launch email campaigns in Klaviyo.
• Build audience segments and support lifecycle marketing, including promotional, automated and retention email activity.
• Review email performance, including open rates, click-through rates, conversion and revenue impact.
• Brief external agencies on paid social, PPC, creative, promotional activity and email requirements.
• Work with agency partners to improve campaign results and keep activity aligned to business goals.
• Support campaign launches with landing pages, collections, onsite merchandising and promotional assets.
• Coordinate activity across ecommerce, email, paid media and social channels to create a consistent customer experience.

Skills & Experience

Applicants should have at least 5 years of experience in ecommerce, digital trading or ecommerce merchandising, along with hands-on knowledge of Shopify and Klaviyo. A strong analytical approach and commercial mindset are essential, as is experience with GA4 and other ecommerce reporting tools. The role also requires solid understanding of ecommerce campaign delivery across email, paid social and PPC, excellent organisation and attention to detail, and experience working with digital marketing agencies.

Preferred Background

It would be an advantage to have experience with merchandising tools, as well as a background in retail, wellness, beauty or FMCG. Familiarity with SEO and content optimisation is also desirable.
