Job description
About the Role
CSCEC Middle East is hiring Electrical Engineers for a newly awarded large-scale construction development project in Dubai. This role supports the smooth delivery of site electrical works on a major high-rise project.
Key Responsibilities
- Make sure the needed labor, materials, plant, and drawings are in place so the assigned work can progress without disruption.
- Confirm that all direct and subcontracted staff are suitably trained or experienced to perform their duties.
- Ensure first-aid support and emergency arrangements are available and communicated to everyone on site.
- Work toward the project target dates and keep activities aligned with the planned schedule.
- Set a strong example for quality and safety awareness across the team.
- Track project activities against the time schedule and monitor progress on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Identify deviations from the plan and take corrective action promptly.
- Coordinate with the site manager to secure the required materials, equipment, and manpower, and follow up with project management and relevant departments on these needs.
- Review issues affecting work progress and resolve them jointly with the site manager.
- Prepare monthly invoices for completed work and delivered materials within the required timeframes and in line with contract terms and conditions.
- Examine subcontractor monthly invoices against their contractual terms before they are approved by the project manager.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience is needed.
- Prior experience on high-rise tower projects is necessary.
