About the role
Careerscape is helping a client recruit a fully remote Email Assistant to oversee inbox management and email communication for a growing organization. In this role, you will act as a key contact for customers and internal teams, ensuring that every message is answered accurately, professionally, and within the required timeframe.
Compensation
The pay range for this position is $52,000 to $68,000 per year, based on experience, and the role includes a comprehensive benefits package.
What you will do
- Review and manage shared and personal inboxes throughout the workday
- Write, edit, and send polished responses to customers and internal stakeholders
- Organize incoming emails, determine priority, and direct them to the appropriate person or team
- Update and maintain email templates, standard replies, and response guidelines
- Identify urgent or sensitive emails and escalate them promptly
- Ensure CRM and ticketing system records remain accurate and current
What the employer is seeking
- At least 1 year of experience in administrative support, customer service, or email-based support
- Strong written communication and careful proofreading ability
- Excellent attention to detail and solid organizational skills
- Ability to handle a large email volume while managing multiple priorities
- Comfort using Gmail or Outlook along with common office software
- A dependable high-speed internet connection and a quiet home workspace
Preferred qualifications
- Prior experience with CRM or help desk platforms such as Salesforce, Zendesk, or HubSpot
- Background supporting a remote or distributed team
- Associate degree or bachelor's degree
