Job description

Role overview

We are looking for an Embedded Software Integration Engineer in Bengaluru for a senior-level automotive software role. The position calls for 10+ years of experience, and preference will be given to candidates who can join immediately.

Key responsibilities

  • Take end-to-end ownership of AUTOSAR Classic architecture, including BSW setup, integration, and final software release.
  • Integrate AUTOSAR basic software components such as Com, CanIf, PduR, Dcm, NvM, Dem, and EcuM, along with MCAL and application software components.
  • Handle ECU bring-up, bootloader integration, and the interface between hardware and software.
  • Set up and verify RTE, communication layers, and diagnostic functionality.
  • Troubleshoot complex system issues related to timing behavior, memory usage, interrupts, concurrency, and communication.
  • Contribute to validation activities, release coordination, CI/CD support, and technical guidance for team members.

Required profile

  • B.E., B.Tech, or M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.
  • More than 10 years of hands-on experience in automotive embedded software development and AUTOSAR integration.
  • Strong command of Embedded C (C99/C11), memory handling, pointer logic, and low-level performance tuning.
  • Solid understanding of embedded fundamentals such as interrupts, task scheduling, concurrency, real-time timing, and bootloaders.
  • Practical experience with 16-bit and 32-bit automotive microcontrollers, including TriCore, NXP, and Renesas platforms.
  • Deep working knowledge of AUTOSAR Classic Platform components, configuration, and integration using DaVinci Configurator Pro, DaVinci Developer, and EB tresos Studio.
  • Extensive exposure to BSW modules such as Com, CanIf, PduR, Dcm, Dem, NvM, and EcuM, as well as ARXML and AUTOSAR development methodology.
  • Working knowledge of automotive communication and diagnostics protocols such as CAN, LIN, J1939, and UDS.
  • Experience with CANoe, CANalyzer, JTAG/SWD debuggers, trace utilities, static analysis tools, MISRA C compliance, and Git.
  • Strong grasp of functional safety concepts under ISO 26262, including ASIL, FMEA/FMEDA, and familiarity with ASPICE, V-model development, and release processes.

Eligibility

Candidates with a B.Tech or B.E. degree in Electronics and Telecommunication, Electronics and Communication (ECE), Electrical and Electronics (EEE), Mechanical, Electronics and Computer, Electronics and Instrumentation, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering can apply.

Location: Bengaluru, India. The role is based onsite in Bangalore and is preferred for immediate joiners.
