About the role
Mentimeter is looking for an Enterprise Business Development Representative to help expand its reach across enterprise accounts. The company’s mission is to transform presentations into interactive conversations, making meetings, classrooms, and training sessions more engaging, productive, and memorable. In this role, you will support growth by identifying new opportunities, building pipeline, and helping move qualified prospects to the right sales partners.
You will be part of a fast-growing SaaS business with strong momentum, working with teams that value collaboration, curiosity, and a hands-on mindset. The role is based onsite in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
As an Enterprise BDR, you will help generate new business through both outbound and inbound activity, qualify sales opportunities, and contribute to ARR growth. You will work closely with Account Executives and Relationship Managers, learn core SaaS sales fundamentals, and engage with organizations across a range of industries in the APAC region.
Key responsibilities
- Reach out to potential customers through calls, email, and social channels to spark conversations and create sales opportunities.
- Partner with Account Executives and Relationship Managers to map target accounts and plan prospecting activity.
- Turn leads and prospects into qualified opportunities by understanding their needs and showing the value of Mentimeter.
- Transfer well-qualified inbound and outbound opportunities to the appropriate sales owners.
- Keep CRM records accurate, current, and complete for all customer and sales interactions.
- Engage with businesses across multiple industries throughout the APAC market.
- Look for ways to improve sales processes, analysis, and outreach tactics.

- Access to professional sales and analytics tools such as Salesforce, Salesloft, Looker, Google Analytics, and Intercom.
- A strong product-led sales motion supported by the Marketing and Product teams.
- Collaboration with Marketing and Sales colleagues on analysis and campaign execution.
- Mentimeter principles and ways of working to guide day-to-day collaboration.
What you need
- Some experience using data to assess business opportunities and support decisions.
- An entrepreneurial approach and a willingness to help build the company alongside your colleagues.
- A highly ambitious, goal-driven mindset.
- Comfort with change and openness to new ways of working.
- Professional-level English, as the business sells in more than 150 countries.
- Strong communication skills.
Nice to have
- About 6 months of experience in a BDR role.
- Background in customer support.
- Experience selling SaaS products.
- Bilingual ability.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in any field.
Compensation and work model
This sales role uses a non-commission-based salary structure rather than a commission model. The position is onsite at Mentimeter’s Sydney office.
