What the job involves
- Supporting equipment repair work, fault diagnosis, and root cause investigations.
- Taking part in continuous improvement activities and projects.
- Using technical documentation, schematics, and test instruments to resolve issues.
- Sharing findings and recommending solutions that improve tool performance.
- Working collaboratively in a busy, high-technology production setting.
Skills and experience needed
- A technical qualification at Level 7 or above in Engineering, Electronics, or a related discipline.
- Strong troubleshooting ability with a focus on root cause analysis and first-time-right repairs.
- Practical experience with semiconductor tools such as Applied Materials implanters, TEL tracks, Nikon steppers, LAM etchers, or similar equipment.
- Confidence working independently and adjusting quickly when priorities change.
