Its culture emphasizes integrity, teamwork, and continuous improvement, and its lean structure is designed to attract ambitious people who enjoy building and improving high-performance trading businesses.
Role Overview
Geneva Trading is looking for an accomplished trader to strengthen and grow its equity trading desk. This position focuses on creating and executing advanced trading ideas in Total Return Futures (TRFs) and Dividend Futures. The role is well suited to someone with a strong grasp of equity forward behavior, funding and repo relationships, and dividend risk, and who wants to contribute directly in a fast-moving, scaling environment.
Responsibilities
- Build, launch, and oversee new trading strategies designed to generate alpha in the TRF and dividend futures markets.
- Track portfolio exposure closely and make ongoing adjustments to financing/repo positions and dividend risk while staying within approved risk limits.
- Spot and trade pricing gaps between OTC products and newly listed contracts.
- Work side by side with colleagues and quantitative researchers to improve pricing frameworks and create practical data tools for trading decisions.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of proven experience in Delta-One, equity swap, or dividend trading.
- Strong knowledge of equity forward mechanics, repo and financing curves, and dividend risk management.
- High comfort level working with large datasets and using data to assess market pricing and risk.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or another quantitative discipline.
- Professional presence, along with strong communication and relationship-building skills for a collaborative trading environment.
Compensation and Benefits
The base pay for this role is USD 100,000 to USD 140,000, and the position is also eligible for a discretionary bonus paid twice a year. Final compensation will depend on the candidate’s experience, education, qualifications, and overall fit. Full-time employees are also offered a competitive rewards package and a comprehensive benefits program.
