Role Summary
The Event Estimator will assess event-related costs, build detailed budgets, and prepare dependable price forecasts. The position calls for reviewing event needs, coordinating with suppliers, drafting proposals for clients, and performing cost comparisons. The role also supports contract discussions and helps ensure pricing stays aligned with the client’s budget expectations. This is a full-time, on-site position in Doha.
Core Qualifications
- Solid background in event budgeting, cost forecasting, and financial planning
- Experience in negotiating with vendors and preparing client proposals
- Strong organizing ability and careful attention to detail when estimating multi-part event requirements
- Capability to handle several assignments at once and work within deadlines
- Clear verbal and written communication skills for working with clients and internal teams
- Working knowledge of tools used for tracking costs, creating reports, and presenting information
- Previous exposure to event planning or event management is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline
