Role Overview
This full-time, non-management role in Faridabad is focused on banquet and event operations within a hospitality setting. The position supports smooth event execution, strong guest service, and coordination across teams to meet brand and service standards.
Key Duties
- Work closely with staff members so the team functions smoothly and service runs efficiently.
- Check staff presentation, including grooming and attire, and correct any gaps where needed.
- Coordinate with guests, colleagues, and other departments to make sure guest needs are handled properly.
- Handle special banquet and event requests and make sure arrangements are delivered as expected.
- Prepare banquet spaces, including furniture and equipment placement, cleanliness, and overall readiness.
- Review table settings to ensure they are neat, clean, and aligned with group expectations and company standards.
- Record relevant details in the appropriate department logbook and keep information updated.
- Support management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating team members.
- Build constructive working relationships and help the team stay focused on shared goals.
- Follow company, safety, and security procedures, and report accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to the manager.
- Complete required safety training and certifications as needed.
- Maintain a professional appearance, safeguard confidential information, and protect company property.
- Welcome guests according to brand standards, respond to their needs proactively, assist guests with disabilities, and show sincere appreciation.
- Communicate clearly and professionally, including proper telephone etiquette.
- Meet quality expectations and standards in daily work.
- Read and verify information in different formats, including small print, when required.
- Be able to stand, sit, or walk for long periods during a shift.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 50 pounds independently and over 75 pounds with assistance.
- Handle objects of different sizes and weights with accuracy and good hand-eye coordination.
- Work safely on stairs, ramps, and uneven or slippery surfaces.
- Bend, twist, reach, stoop, and perform other physically active duties as assigned.
- Carry out additional reasonable tasks as requested.
Preferred Profile
- High school diploma or GED equivalency preferred.
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience is required.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience is required.
- No license or certification is needed for this role.
