Overview
This opportunity is for an experienced Executive Assistant / Project Manager to support a senior Partner at a respected financial services consulting firm. The position is designed for someone who can operate comfortably in a high-visibility, fast-moving environment and serve as a trusted partner to leadership.
Although the title is Executive Assistant, the role is heavily project-oriented and includes substantial work in presentations, research, and data management.
Work Location
The role is fully remote, with the preference that candidates are based in or near NYC, Chicago, Boston, Atlanta, Stamford, CT, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, or San Francisco.
Compensation and Benefits
The position offers a base salary of $120,000 plus bonus potential and full benefits. A Microsoft Office skills assessment is required as part of the selection process.
Key Responsibilities
You will provide direct support to a senior Partner and keep day-to-day priorities organized and moving.
- Oversee complex calendars across several time zones.
- Arrange detailed travel itineraries for domestic and international trips.
- Create, edit, and format executive correspondence and presentation materials.
- Serve as a central contact for the Partner, internal teams, and outside clients.
- Prepare expense reports and assist with budget monitoring.
- Lead and track time-sensitive special projects.
- Proactively identify needs, clear obstacles, and ensure priorities stay on track.
Candidate Profile
The employer is seeking someone with at least 5 years of experience supporting executives, ideally in financial services, private equity, investment banking, consulting, or a similar setting. Stable employment history with long tenures is important.
Strong command of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is essential, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills. The role also requires strong discretion, professionalism, and the ability to handle confidential information with care.
Preferred Background
Experience supporting senior leaders in professional services is preferred, along with a demonstrated ability to work independently on projects while using Microsoft Office tools regularly.
