Job description
Role Overview
This position provides administrative backing to the General Manager and the wider leadership team. The role centers on handling correspondence, coordinating information, tracking issues through to resolution, and keeping day-to-day office and executive support activities running smoothly.
Core Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and statistical documents.
- Attend meetings, record minutes, and circulate notes for staff, executive committee, and departmental meetings when needed.
- Create and maintain files, including records for giveaways and donations.
- Assist with reservation-related coordination and general administrative tasks.
- Draft, prepare, and send routine correspondence.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and handle departmental phone calls.
- Serve as a receptionist for the manager and provide caller support for other team members when required.
- Deliver high-quality customer service that supports guest satisfaction and retention.
- Help maintain daily operational standards and service expectations.
- Participate in meetings to improve service quality and coordination across teams.
- Handle VIP amenity requests from the General Manager and DOPS promptly.
- Sign for managers and release items only when specifically authorized.
- Communicate safety procedures and procedure codes clearly and help ensure understanding of safety requirements.
- Review information, assess outcomes, and assist in selecting practical solutions to problems.
- Coordinate with others to collect information, support projects, meet goals, and resolve issues.
- Keep executives and peers informed of relevant updates in a timely manner.
Candidate Profile
The employer seeks someone with either a high school diploma or GED plus 2 years of experience in administrative assistance, clerical services, or a related professional field, or a 2-year degree from an accredited university in Secretarial Studies, Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a similar discipline with no prior work experience required.
Work Details
This is a full-time management role based in New Delhi, Delhi, India. The job is not remote and is tied to the Asset Area 13 - Hospitality District location.
