Job description
Role overview
We are hiring an Executive Operations Assistant to act as a dependable partner to the CEO and COO. In this role, you will help keep priorities aligned, support strategic work, and make sure day-to-day operations run smoothly.
The position goes beyond a standard executive assistant role. You will be closely involved in leadership coordination, project delivery, internal follow-up, and operational improvement across several teams.
Key responsibilities
- Manage executive calendars, priorities, and day-to-day communications.
- Coordinate important business projects from the initial stage through to completion.
- Create project plans, action logs, and status updates.
- Assist with leadership meetings by capturing actions and tracking follow-through.
- Monitor KPIs and prepare management reports and dashboard updates.
- Work with different departments to remove obstacles and maintain project momentum.
- Support operational improvement work and wider business transformation activity.
What we are looking for
The ideal candidate will bring previous experience in an Executive Assistant, Executive Operations Assistant, Project Coordinator, Business Support, or Project Manager type role. You should be highly organised, confident working with senior stakeholders, and able to manage several priorities at once.
Strong communication skills, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to keep people accountable are important. You should also be comfortable using Microsoft 365 and approaching challenges with a proactive, solutions-first attitude.
Success traits
- Enjoys turning complexity into clear structure.
- Likes taking ownership and seeing tasks through.
- Works well without close supervision.
- Can influence and work with stakeholders at all levels.
- Values organisation, accountability, and operational excellence.
Additional information
This is a strong opportunity to join a growing business where your work will be visible to senior leadership and where you can make a clear impact on performance and operations. The role is based in the Manchester area and follows a hybrid working pattern, with a competitive salary.
