Role overview
Maybank is seeking an Executive for its Payment & Services Centre in Singapore. The role focuses on supporting account opening and onboarding activities, making sure submitted documents are complete, accurate, and handled in line with internal standards and service expectations.
Key responsibilities
- Examine account-opening packs received from different business units and confirm that all required documents are in place.
- Work closely with Account Managers, Legal, and Compliance teams to resolve onboarding-related issues and keep work aligned with agreed turnaround times.
- Apply the relevant Standard Operating Procedures and follow applicable policies, standards, and guidelines at all times.
- Identify control weaknesses, service delays, or other concerns and escalate them promptly.
- Support process enhancements and take part in additional assignments or projects when required.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Banking & Finance, Business Administration, or a similar discipline is required.
- Prior exposure to banking operations and client onboarding is an advantage.
- Sound knowledge of operational risk and control procedures is expected.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with good interpersonal ability, are needed.
- A clear focus on service quality and customer support is important.
- Good planning and time-management skills are necessary.
- The ideal candidate should be self-driven, able to perform well under pressure, and comfortable working in a team environment.
