Role overview

Trend Personnel Services, part of TrendHR, is hiring an ambitious Executive Recruiter for its Rockwall team in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. This position is a hands-on, full-desk recruiting opportunity that blends new business development, client partnership management, and end-to-end recruitment.

The right candidate will be proactive, commercially minded, and energized by relationship building, winning new clients, and placing strong talent with leading employers. The role spans several industries, including finance and accounting, engineering, legal, HR, and construction management, and focuses on solving important hiring needs for organizations.

Key responsibilities

  • Create new business by prospecting, networking, asking for referrals, and developing long-term relationships.
  • Identify, engage, and place executive, professional, and skilled candidates across multiple sectors.
  • Run the entire hiring process from sourcing and screening through interviews, reference verification, offer discussions, and onboarding support.
  • Develop and keep active and passive talent pipelines for immediate and future hiring needs.
  • Regularly bring in candidate referrals, potential client contacts, and market insights.
  • Keep ATS and CRM records current and accurate.
  • Provide a high level of support and communication to both clients and candidates throughout recruitment.
  • Meet individual targets for recruiting, sales, and placements.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success working in an agency recruiting setting.
  • Strong ability in sourcing, interviewing, networking, and evaluating candidates.
  • Comfortable balancing sales-oriented business development with active recruiting work.
  • Clear communication, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships.
  • Well organized with effective prioritization and time management skills.
  • Working knowledge of ATS platforms, recruiting tools, and candidate search methods.
  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
