Job description

Role overview

As Executive Vice President of Healthcare Solutions, you will work closely with executive leadership, sales, account management, recruiting, delivery, and marketing teams to grow and scale iMethods’ solutions and managed services offerings. The position focuses on expanding existing client relationships beyond staffing into consulting, project delivery, and managed services, while ensuring offerings are structured, repeatable, and operationally scalable. The role calls for strong healthcare IT services experience, a deep understanding of the Epic ecosystem, strategic selling ability, delivery credibility, and the capability to build a scalable organization that can support repeatable growth.

Build and scale the solutions engine

  • Develop a scalable solutions and managed services organization that strengthens and expands the company’s staffing base.
  • Own the creation, packaging, and execution of core consulting practices, including AI/Ambient work focused on Epic, implementations, managed services such as upgrades/refuels, Community Connect, and Emerging Leaders, plus revenue cycle and strategy/advisory offerings like Epic Road Maps, Honor Roll, and Gold Star Program.
  • Lead the creation of a Revenue Cycle Center of Excellence, combining advisory, optimization, and performance improvement services with measurable ROI through faster cash flow and lower costs.
  • Design repeatable offerings with defined scope, pricing, delivery approaches, staffing plans, governance, and client outcomes, and make sure they are delivered consistently through clear phases, outputs, and expectations.
  • Set and enforce standard delivery practices across solution engagements, including structure, communication rhythm, roles, responsibilities, adoption, and governance.
  • Expand managed services and optimization services such as Epic application support, upgrades, refuels, Community Connect programs, Emerging Leaders models, and Epic Road Maps, Honor Roll, and Gold Star programs.
  • Spot, rank, and develop adjacent capabilities that can broaden the solutions platform, including Epic-aligned training, selective platform growth such as ServiceNow, and flexible staffing models like contract-to-hire.

Execution quality and consistency

  • Oversee strategic engagements to ensure solutions are both commercially viable and deliverable, with clear scope limits, governance, risk controls, accountability, and measurable results.

Growth and sales enablement

  • Turn current staffing accounts into broader advisory, project-based, and managed services opportunities.
  • Work with regional vice presidents, account executives, and sales leaders to identify, qualify, shape, pursue, and close solution deals.
  • Keep executive relationships active with CIOs, CMIOs, CNIOs, CFOs, revenue cycle leaders, clinical operations leaders, application leaders, and other healthcare decision-makers.
  • Support proposal creation, solution design, pricing approach, oral presentations, and executive client discussions.
  • Represent the company at conferences, customer meetings, executive briefings, and thought leadership events.

Performance and business economics

  • Create and execute the strategy for the Healthcare Solutions business, including annual and multi-year planning across offerings, hiring, sales goals, delivery capacity, investment needs, and profitability.
  • Track revenue, gross margin, utilization, client satisfaction, renewals, expansion, and delivery results across the solutions portfolio.
  • Build, coach, and lead a Healthcare Solutions team that can sell, deliver, and grow complex healthcare IT engagements.

What the role calls for

  • Ability to design and scale efficient, standardized delivery systems that improve performance, utilization, and margins.
  • Skill in turning emerging technologies, including AI, into practical workflows that improve delivery outcomes.
  • Leadership in matrixed environments, with the ability to influence stakeholders, drive change, and develop strong teams.
  • Systems thinking and problem-solving skills that connect operational decisions to broader business results in ambiguous settings.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas and work cross-functionally to build scalable solutions.
  • A practical, curious, and resilient mindset with a bias for execution, willingness to challenge the status quo, and comfort in fast-moving environments.

Education and experience

  • A bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Business, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related area.
  • An advanced degree is strongly preferred, such as an MBA, MHA, MS in Information Systems, or a similar qualification, especially with emphasis on operations, strategy, or organizational leadership.
  • Additional credentials or formal training in process improvement, operational excellence, or program leadership, such as Lean, Six Sigma, PMP, or Agile, are a plus.
  • At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in consulting, healthcare IT, or complex services organizations, with strong focus on delivery transformation, operational excellence, or large-scale program leadership.
  • Demonstrated success in designing and implementing enterprise delivery models, operating frameworks, or transformation initiatives that measurably improve productivity, quality, and profitability.
  • Preferred background in transformation, innovation, or emerging technologies such as AI or digital, gained through education and/or experience.
