Role overview

NeXTfairs L.L.C is looking for an experienced exhibition professional to take charge of the planning, development, and delivery of large-scale exhibitions and events in Doha, Qatar. This position calls for a strategic leader who can coordinate the full project lifecycle, including sales, marketing, operations, and logistics, while keeping delivery aligned with business objectives, budget limits, timelines, and scope.

What you will handle

  • Lead the end-to-end management of exhibitions, covering sales, marketing, operations, and other project-related functions.
  • Own the full profit-and-loss responsibility, including budgeting and day-to-day expenditure control.
  • Create and execute advertising, marketing, and public relations initiatives, along with content development and campaign briefing.
  • Work closely with design studios, printing vendors, translators, and advertising partners to roll out promotional activity.
  • Carry out market analysis to spot trends and uncover new opportunities in the industry.
  • Liaise with exhibition contractors, suppliers, and exhibitors to ensure seamless event delivery.
  • Track revenue opportunities and implement cost management measures to improve profitability.
  • Plan exhibition floor layouts and event schedules such as conferences, workshops, seminars, and live demonstrations.
  • Drive sales of exhibition space to prospective exhibitors and secure sponsorships.
  • Oversee stand construction, dismantling, and site clearance activities.
  • Present event opportunities to prospective clients and encourage participation.
  • Develop and sustain strong relationships with clients and other key stakeholders.
  • Keep an eye on competitor activity and use market insights to shape innovative event approaches.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to changing project needs with a proactive, flexible attitude.

Candidate profile

  • A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent level of practical experience.
  • At least 6 years of background in exhibitions, conferences, and event management.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, CRM platforms, and related business software.
  • Strong understanding of the exhibition and event landscape, with good market awareness.
  • High accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Professional fluency in both Arabic and English, spoken and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines in a busy setting.
  • Excellent skills in organization, team leadership, and management.
  • A valid Qatar driving licence is required.

Compensation

The package for this role is QAR 30,000 to QAR 40,000 per month, plus commission.
