This role is crucial for driving the success and expansion of this new venture. The position involves direct client interaction, defining project scopes, managing material procurement, cost estimation, fieldwork oversight, quality assurance, and handling warranty matters. As a foundational member of this division, the candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to quickly contribute to the division's financial goals and growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed scopes of work for specialized projects and manage the procurement of necessary materials.
• Engage with clients to understand their requirements and provide regular project status updates.
• Prepare project cost estimates and establish budgets.
• Oversee and coordinate fieldwork to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
• Monitor project progress, making necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors to meet all project specifications.
• Provide on-site leadership, enforcing safety protocols and project standards.
• Implement quality control procedures to uphold high standards of work.
• Conduct site inspections, promptly addressing any identified issues.
• Manage warranty claims and ensure complete client satisfaction.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and records.
• Update service requests daily with detailed notes, material receipts, and time logs.
• Generate reports on project status and identify areas for improvement.
• Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Offer a broad range of services to provide added value to clients.
• Ensure client needs are addressed efficiently and professionally.
• Attend relevant industry events as required.
• Support the hiring process for the new division, including candidate interviews and onboarding.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Possess 3-5 years of project management experience within commercial construction or a similar industry.
• Demonstrated experience in client management and project development is essential.
• A solid understanding of construction methodologies and building systems is required.
• Proficiency in project management software, the Microsoft Office Suite, and AIA documentation is necessary.
• Must hold a valid driver's license and have access to reliable transportation.
• Exceptional communication and leadership abilities are expected.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders.
