Role overview

The hotel is seeking an F&B Assistant Manager to support the day-to-day running of the Lobby Lounge. This position plays a key role in maintaining smooth service, strong team coordination, and a consistently high guest experience throughout all service periods.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the F&B Manager in managing the daily operations of the Lobby Lounge.
  • Make sure service runs efficiently across all shifts, including afternoon tea and cocktail service.
  • Guide, supervise, and motivate service team members; this includes training, roster planning, and assigning duties.
  • Uphold high standards in service quality, cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction in line with the brand’s expectations.
  • Respond to guest concerns and close service-related issues quickly and professionally.
  • Oversee the lounge’s setup, tidiness, and overall atmosphere.
  • Work closely with kitchen and bar colleagues to deliver food and beverage service on time and at the expected quality.
  • Help manage inventory, stock control, and ordering requests.
  • Contribute to promotions, suggestive selling, and efforts to meet revenue goals.
  • Prepare daily operational reports and assist with administrative work such as duty schedules and team briefings.
  • Ensure all activities comply with HACCP guidelines and local safety and hygiene requirements.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in food and beverage operations, ideally in a hotel lounge or bar setting.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and confidence in handling teams.
  • Good communication skills for coordinating with staff, guests, and other departments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to act quickly when issues arise.
